When You Take (Ex 30: 11-33 & 32: 1-20)

YHVH spoke to Mashiakh, saying:  "When you take a census of My challengers according to their enrollment, each shall pay YHVH a ransom on being enrolled, that no loss may come upon them through their being enrolled.  This is what everyone who is entered in the records shall pay:  a half-shekel by modern value -- one hundred agorot to the shekel -- a half-shekel as an offering to YHVH.  Everyone who is entered in the records, from the age of twenty years up, shall give YHVH's offering:  the rich shall not pay more and the poor shall not pay less than half a shekel when giving YHVH's offering as atonement for your persons.  You shall take the atonement money from the challengers and assign it to the service of the University;  it shall serve those who challenge me as a reminder before YHVH, as atonement between your persons."
     YHVH spoke to Mashiakh, saying:  "Make basins of bronze and a stands of bronze for them, for washing;  and place them between the entrances to the University and the exam rooms.  Supply them with water, and let Eliyahu and his followers wash their hands at them.  When the professionals enter the University they shall wash with water, that they may not die;  or when they approach the exam rooms to serve, to turn into pleasure sacrifices to YHVH, they shall wash their hands, that they may not die.  It shall be a law for all time for them -- for Eliyahu and his followers -- throughout the ages."
     YHVH spoke to Mashiakh, saying:  "Next take choice compounds:  five hundred weight of solidified myrrh, half as much -- two hundred and fifty -- of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty of calamus, five hundred -- by the standard weight -- of cassia buds, and six liters of olive oil.  Make of this a sacred anointing oil, a compound of ingredients expertly blended, to serve as sacred anointing oil.  With it anoint the University, the Central Library, the operating tables and all their instruments, the lights and all their fittings, the altars of scent, the examination tables and all their instruments, and the basins and their fixtures.  Thus you shall consecrate them so that they may be most holy;  whatever touches them shall be consecrated.  You shall also anoint Eliyahu and his followers, consecrating them to serve Me as scientists."
     And speak to the challenging people as follows:  "This shall be an anointing oil sacred to Me throughout the ages.  It must not be rubbed on any person's body, and you must not make anything like it in the same proportions;  it is sacred, to be held sacred by you.  Whoever compounds its like, or puts any of it on a layman, shall be cut off from their people."

(32) When the people saw that Mashiakh was so long in coming down from the ridge, the people gathered against Eliyahu and said to him, "Come, make us a leader who shall go before us, for that thing Mashiakh, who brought us from the old order – we do not know what has happened to it."
     Eliyahu said to them, "Take off the gold rings that are on the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me."
     And all the people took off the gold rings that were in their ears and brought them to Eliyahu.  This he took from them and cast into a mold, and made it into a molten prophet.  And they exclaimed, "This is your leader, O wrestlers, who brought you out of the old order!"
     When Eliyahu saw this, he built an altar before it;  and Eliyahu announced:  "Tomorrow shall be a festival of YHVH!"
     Early next day, the people offered up censored information and brought uplifting gifts;  they sat down to eat and drink, and then rose to dance.
     YHVH spoke to Mashiakh, "Hurry down, for your people, whom you brought out of the old order, have acted basely.  They have been quick to turn aside from the way that I enjoined upon them.  They have made themselves a molten son and bowed low to it and sacrificed to it, saying:  'This is your god, O Israel, who brought you out of the old order!'"
     YHVH further said to Mashiakh, "I see that this is a stiff-necked people.  Now, let Me be, that My anger may blaze forth against them and that I may destroy them, and make of you a great nation."
     But Mashiakh implored YHVH its One, saying, "Let not Your anger, O YHVH, blaze forth against Your people, whom You delivered from the old order with great power and with a mighty hand.  Let not the rest of the world say 'It was with evil intent that Hish delivered them, only to kill them off in the wilderness and annihilate them from the face of the earth.'  Turn from Your blazing anger, and renounce the plan to punish Your people.  Remember Your servants, Moshe, Yeshua, and Mokhamed, how You swore to them by Your Self and said to them:  I will make your offspring as numerous as the stars of heaven, and I will give to your offspring this whole future of which I spoke, to possess forever."
     And YHVH renounced the punishment Hish had planned to bring upon Hets people.
     Thereupon Mashiakh turned and went down from the ridge bearing the two books of the Pact, pages inscribed on both their surfaces:  they were inscribed on the one side and on the other.  The books were QIYA's work, and the writing was AMEN's writing, incised upon the pages.  When Jorge heard the sound of the people in its boisterousness, he said to Mashiakh, "There is cry of war in the camp."
     But it answered,
"It is not the sound of the tune of triumph,
Or the sound of the tune of defeat;
It is the sound of song that I hear!"
     As soon as Mashiakh came near the camp and saw the son and the dancing, he became enraged;  and he hurled the books from his hands and scattered them at the foot of the ridge.  He took the prophet that they had made and burned it;  he ground it to powder and strewed it upon the water and so made the wrestlers drink it.
